Born in Doncaster, England.

Andy Barron began his career with the ‘Doncaster Jazz Youth Orchestra’ consistently nominated ‘best British youth Big Band’ appearing in major European festivals including Nice and Montreux. He was selected to  be part of Eurojazz  ’81 (selection of the best young European musicians).
 
 

Began working extensively in London from 1984 onwards, taking part in many concerts and recordings in a wide range of musical styles. He’s played with

many artists including : Dominic Miller, Mark King and Mike Lindup, Nigel Kennedy, Julia Fordham, Peoplespeak. Neils Hennings Pederson, Stan Sultzman,Ronnie Scott plus many others and has widely recorded for radio, television and cinema.

 
 

Began working and living in France from 1995 onwards.
