The Finnish sculptress Jaana Myöhänen presently reside and works in Montreuil, France since 1986. She was born in Kuopio in 1963.

 

 

Her experience  in sculpture and other diverse areas in finest arts is vast and her work is quite impressive:

 

 

She was a make-up artist for Bastille Opera, Opera Garnier, the most prestigious opera theaters of Paris and has worked with the most important photographers in the artistic field.

 

 

She participated in the conception of design and decoration for theaters and the motion pictures at the studio workshop Passe-Muraille in Paris.

 

 

She has also modeled pottery and enamel with great and reputable spanish ceramist François Aguado.

 

 

In 1997,  Jaana meets a  great french sculptor René Coutelle at his workshop on the rue de la Mare in Paris with whom she has worked two and a half years.  And since that encounter with Coutelle, she has devoted all of her time to sculpturing, cutting and sizing precious rocks, marble, granite at her workshop in Montreuil. Presently, she expose regularly in Paris and abroad since 1998.
