Began his musical training at the age of six and took up the trumpet.

Studied several years at the conservatoire of Caen, then at the age of seventeen began studying acoustic bass with Michel Dutriez.
 

1983 -1984: accompanies the pianist Claude Bolling for numerous tours and concerts in France and abroad.

1997-present: plays with various groups, with Alain Debiossat, Laurent De Wilde, Jean-Luc Dayan, André Villéger, Frédéric Jeanne, Zool Fleischer, Antoine Illouz, Tony Pagano, Charles Schneider, Lionel Benhamou, Emmanuel Bex, Manhu Roche, Gildas Étévenard, Edmundo Carniero, David Venitucci, Olivier Caillard, Olivier Ker Ourio, Joël Allouche, Francesco Castellani, Andrea Michelutti, Victorio Silvestri, Stella Levitt, Philippe Carment, Daniel Huck, Patrick Artero, Philippe Baudoin, Pascal Salmon, Perry Robinson, Pierre Drevet, Didier Squiban,  Edouardo Lopes, Hildegarde Wanzlawe, Sara Lazarus, Valérie Barki, Viviane Ginapé, Gérard Faroux, Laurent Blumenthal, Patrice Foudon, Emmanuel Scarpa, André Jaume, Alain Brunet, Andy Barron, Yvan Oukrid...

Accompanies tap dancers Sarah and Leela Petronio (Theater Bartrina de Reus, Spain); Max Pollac (Sunset, Paris); Fabien Ruiz, with the Big Band of Christian Garos (Rouen).

1995-1998: concerts, tours and recording of the CD "INTUITION" with the Quartet "DIFFERENCES"; Patrick Favre, piano; François Cordas, saxophone; Frédéric Jeanne, drums.

2002 / 2003, Plays with the Trio BRAZIL
