Began his musical training at the age of six and took up the trumpet.

Studied several years at the conservatoire of Caen, then at the age of seventeen began studying acoustic bass with Michel Dutriez.

1983 -1984: accompanies the pianist Claude Bolling for numerous tours and concerts in France and abroad.

1997-present: plays with various groups, with Alain Debiossat, Alfio Origlio, Eric Prost, Andy Barron, Laurent De Wilde, Olivier Ker Ourio, Olivier Hutman, Olivier Témime, Alain Brunet, Manhu Roche, Romane, Antoine Illouz, André Villéger, Tony Pagano, Lionel Benhamou,  Frédéric Jeanne, Emmanuel Bex,  Edmundo Carniero, David Venitucci, Olivier Caillard, Joël Allouche, Francesco Castellani, Andrea Michelutti, Victorio Silvestri, Stella Levitt, Marc Thomas, Philippe Carment, Perrine Mansuy, Maxime Saury, Roger Guérin, Daniel Huck, Patrick Artero, Philippe Baudoin, Benny Vasseur, Marcel Zanini, Perry Robinson, Patrick Favre, Pierre Drevet, Oilvier Truchot, Didier Squiban, Sara Lazarus, Emmanuel Scarpa, André Jaume ...

1995-1998: concerts, tours and recording of the CD "INTUITION" with the Quartet "DIFFERENCES"; Patrick Favre, piano; François Cordas, saxophone; Frédéric Jeanne, drums.

- 1995 à 2009, plays with,  Trio BRASIL, le Quartet  "IO",  the New Orleans band Vitamine Jazz Band , New Free Orleans, Quartet Phare Ouest, "Le Duo en Quartet"  plays Brel & Aznavour.

       - Plays with the quartet of the pianist Michel Samoïlikoff " INTERVALLE "
        - Alain Brunet Quintet plays Serge Gainsbourg.
       - 1936 "Des Fleurs et des Pleurs"
